For a while now I have been struggling with the concept of tollerance and intollerance. What does it mean for me as an Australian to be told I need to be tollerant of groups in our society who loudly tell me that they find it offensive in how I celebrate Christmas . Do I no longer matter in my own country? When was it alright to disrespect my traditions? Who gave them permission to do that? I have not and do not give these groups permission to be that dismissive of a tradition that is dear to my heart.
